About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Sales Associate / Cashier to join our store team. In this position, you will be the face of 7-Eleven—handling register transactions, keeping shelves fully stocked, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Whether you're helping a customer check out, signing them up for rewards, or keeping product displays fresh, your positive energy makes every visit a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Warmly greet customers, sell products, answer questions, and assist shoppers throughout the store.
• Cashier & Register Operations: Process cash, credit, and mobile sales transactions quickly and accurately.
• Rewards Program Management: Help customers scan, earn, and redeem points through the 7-Eleven Rewards program.
• Returns & Issue Resolution: Politely handle customer complaints, returns, and exchanges according to store guidelines.
• Stocking & Merchandising: Receive shipments, unpack inventory, and keep shelves, coolers, and product displays stocked, neatly organized, and faced.
• Store Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment—including sweeping, mopping, wiping counter spaces, and cleaning coffee/beverage areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age (or meet local legal age requirements to process restricted sales like lottery, alcohol, or tobacco).
• Friendly, approachable attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Basic math and computer skills to operate register systems and handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in retail sales, cash handling, or customer service (convenience store experience is a plus!).
• Familiarity with loyalty or rewards program sign-ups.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout your shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and stack inventory boxes up to 30–50 lbs .
• Willingness to stock walk-in coolers and handle cold/hot food equipment safely.
