Mailroom Operator - 1st Shift

Adecco is seeking Mailroom Operators for a leading printing and mailing facility in Portland, Maine. This fast-paced role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic production environment and take pride in delivering high-quality work. These positions are temp-to-hire , offering the opportunity for long-term career growth and stability.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Operate mailroom and production equipment
• Open mail and scan documents according to established procedures
• Follow written audit sheets and work instructions

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and computerized equipment (printers/scanners)
• Basic computer proficiency, including document scanning and data entry
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and audit sheets
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and percentages
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity

• Ability to Sit and Stand to perform job duties
• Frequently lift 10-20 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
