Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM, MondayFriday (Note: For orientation during the first three weeks of the contract, travelers will be asked to work 1st shift, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM, to get familiar with the unit.)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Surgical Support Aide position at a major medical campus in Cleveland, OH. The role is a travel/contract assignment within the Surgical Services department and requires hands-on physical work including lifting heavy items, transporting patients, and cleaning and turning over rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift heavy items as required by the role
• Transport patients as needed
• Clean and turn over rooms

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 full year of customer service experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Role requires lifting heavy items
• Transporting patients
• Cleaning and turning over rooms
