Job#: 3043190 Job Description: Desktop Support Technician Location: Austin, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM About The Role Join the Desktop Support team and provide hands‑on technology support for over 6,000 internal users in one of the company’s largest service centers. This entry‑level opportunity is ideal for a customer‑focused IT professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys solving technical challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide real‑time technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other end‑user technology. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS devices. Deliver remote and phone‑based technical assistance as needed. Deploy, recover, and track hardware assets while maintaining accurate inventory records. Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in tools such as Remedy and Clarity. Collaborate with a team of Desktop Support professionals to ensure excellent service delivery. Support move, add, and change (MAC) requests across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or 1–3 years of experience in enterprise desktop support or an internal IT service center environment. Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS support. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Customer‑first mindset with a positive, proactive attitude.
