Fundamental Research Group (FRG) Manager

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end research delivery, including prioritizing workflow, ensuring quality and timeliness, and continuously improving processes to meet regional and global needs Build strong partnerships with investment professionals and act as the primary point of contact for research requests, aligning team priorities with business objectives Foster a high-performing, inclusive team environment, providing coaching, feedback, and development to support associate growth and engagement Drive team effectiveness by proactively identifying capability needs, addressing bottlenecks, and partnering with HR and Talent Acquisition on recruiting and succession planning Qualifications You have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with a strong foundation in fundamental investment research You have a strong understanding of investment research requirements and how to translate them into high-quality outputs that support investment decision‑making You can identify, recruit, and coach strong investment research talent, helping individuals grow while strengthening overall team capability You can manage complex workflows, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments You bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, paired with intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning You build trusted relationships, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and leverage data and technology to enhance outcomes Benefits Enjoy generous time‑away and health benefits from day one, with the opportunity for flexible work options Receive 2‑for‑1 matching gifts for your charitable contributions and the opportunity to secure annual grants for the organizations you love Access on‑demand professional development resources that allow you to hone existing skills and learn new ones Compensation New York Base Salary Range: $213,795-$342,072 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings. * Temporary positions in the United States are excluded from the above mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
