School Speech Language Pathologist

Soliant Health

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in an elementary school in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals
Provide direct therapy services (individual and group sessions) in areas including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic/social communication
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators to support student progress
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and RTI processes
Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA)
Supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicable

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
Current North Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!)
Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP development
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
