TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Issaquah, Washington, 98029!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Required License: Compact License Required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Epic Experience Required Travel Experience Required 2 Years of Experience in Labor and Delivery Description: Locals are accepted at the same rate. Candidates from other facilities are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. Active compact licenses are honored. Patient diagnoses include Labor and Preterm Labor. The unit features 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. Nurses will circulate for OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, Scrub, Low Risk Antepartum, and Low Risk Labor and Delivery. Special procedures include Blood and Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion, Defibrillation, Cooling and Warming Blanket use, Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, and Syringe Pumps. Special equipment involves administering Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate. Nurses will attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and GYN surgeries, provide couplet care, Low Risk Antepartum, and support in the transition nursery. Staffing ratios are 1:1 to 1:3. Floating to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set is required. Candidates may be expected to float between neighboring facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. References are required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Travelers may be expected to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. All scheduling requests must be made upfront. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination.
