The beautifulEmbassy Suites Orlando International Drive Convention Center is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to lead their team! This 244-suite property is located 10 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando, and a mile from the Orange County Convention Center. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, hands‑on leader with experience in food and beverage management. This role oversees banquets, restaurant operations, breakfast buffets, and complimentary evening receptions. Shift Pattern Full availability is required including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. What will I be doing? A Food and Beverage Manager will organize and manage the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing, contributing to outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Plan and direct all functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet daily operational needs, including outlet and banquet functions. Prepare, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage sub-departments. Develop, implement and monitor schedules for all food & beverage outlets to achieve a profitable result. Participate in the creation and marketing of menu designs to attract desired customer market. Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs, monitor budget to ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within budget limits, including achieving budgeted revenue and labor expenses. Regularly review, evaluate and respond to customer satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction; recommend new operating and marketing policies when changes in demand, customer dissatisfaction or competitive environment require changes. Ensure compliance with all Hilton Hotels policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel and evaluate line employees according to HHC policies and procedures. What are we looking for?
