General Service/State Inspector

We are seeking a dedicated General Service/State Inspector to join our team of skilled professionals. As an integral member of our shop, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by providing top-notch service to our customers. With access to the highest quality equipment and tools, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise while contributing to our team's success.

General Service/State Inspector Responsibilities

  • Perform general vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Identify and communicate any issues or safety concerns during inspections and services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and customers.
  • Contribute to our positive shop culture by fostering teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications for General Service/State Inspector

  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain state inspection certification within a specified period after hiring, if not already certified.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification from an accredited automotive training program.
  • Experience with using specialty tools and diagnostic equipment.
