About The Role As a Line Cook in our Food & Beverage department, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. Working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen, you will execute dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintain a clean and organized work station, and support overall kitchen efficiency and safety. What You’ll Do Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station(s) with all required products, tools, and equipment for service Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures (including FIFO) to ensure freshness and minimize waste Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly Work closely with other line cooks, prep cooks, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely and accurate order execution Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and shared kitchen areas throughout service and during closing duties Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper temperatures and allergen awareness Assist with prep work, including chopping, marinating, batching, and portioning ingredients as needed for service Support inventory control by communicating low stock levels, overproduction, or product quality issues to supervisors Participate in daily line checks, tastings, and team meetings to ensure readiness and consistency of menu items Follow opening and closing procedures, including labeling, dating, and properly storing all food products Contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient kitchen culture by communicating clearly and helping teammates during busy periods Qualifications Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or high‑volume food service environment preferred Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to read and follow recipes, prep lists, and station guides in English Strong sense of timing, organization, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [X] lbs for extended periods during a shift Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction and feedback from chefs and supervisors Legal authorization to work in the country of employment #J-18808-Ljbffr
