Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding of treatment protocols.
Communicate patient status and progress effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
