Job Description The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Responsibilities Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor and uses guest last names and salutation of the day. Practices proper phone etiquette. Parks and retrieves vehicles slowly and cautiously, assists guests with bell services and luggage storage, opens vehicle and hotel doors. Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions in the area; shuttles guests to approved locations. Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks after receiving keys and collects before returning them; maintains ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt; calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license for the state of employment. Minimum one month of related experience and/or training. Knowledge of customer service principles and processes. Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English, including simple instructions and correspondence. Basic mathematical skills with money (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with 10s and 100s). Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems; familiarity with applicable rates. Manual transmission operation desirable. Compensation and Schedule Hourly base pay range: $12 per hour plus $4–$8 per hour in tips. Open availability in AM/PM shifts. Benefits Accident insurance. Work Conditions Work is performed outdoors for extended periods under varying temperature conditions. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and operating vehicles. Travel up to 5% may be required.
