Your Key Responsibilities
- Employ radiographic and CT techniques to generate top-notch diagnostic images that assist physicians in their evaluations
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to guarantee precise diagnoses
- Position patients correctly and adjust equipment to enhance imaging quality
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
- Keep meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging journey
- Help maintain a secure, organized, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is desirable
- Graduation from an accredited radiology training program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Current BLS certification or ability to secure it within 90 days of hire
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging practices and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving situations
- A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
