We work frequently with older, hearing impaired clientele, so patience and compassion are imperative. Our ideal candidate is an independent thinker, detail oriented and self motivated. Must have strong customer service experience and strong computer skills.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Patient Welcoming & Check-In/Check-Out: Greet patients warmly as they arrive, manage check in/check-out processes, ensure all intake paperwork is accurately completed.
• Appointment Scheduling: Managing the clinic scheduling efficiently, booking appointments according to practice guidelines, managing cancellations, managing online appointment requests, and making confirmation calls.
• Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient emails, route inquiries to our clinical staff as needed, manage physician referrals and other faxes
• Administrative Support: Maintain electronic health records (EHR), scan documents, collect co-pays, process payments, and process incoming/outgoing mail.
• Clinic Upkeep: Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized and welcoming for our patients.
• Team Engagement: Actively participate in company meetings and trainings, work proactively to problem solve in a collaborative environment, be a positive presence in our small office setting.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR (JOB REQUIREMENTS):

• Experience: Medical office reception, hospitality, or high-end customer service preferred (we are willing to train the right personality!)
• Skills: Strong proficiency with computers with the ability to proficiently learn electronic medical software (EHR), and Microsoft Office suite, active listening skills, outstanding interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse patient and medical practice populations; including listening, sales, and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently with limited supervision, ability to solve problems and provide solutions and/or escalate to the appropriate personnel, ability to learn on-the-job and implement professional feedback.
• Traits: Exceptional empathy, strong work ethic, high attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities, and a reliable, professional demeanor.
• Education: High school diploma required
• Background: Ability to pass background check, strong professional references
