Senior / Staff Nurse (NUH Delivery Suite)

Clinical Care: Provide safe and competent nursing care, including patient assessments on admission and throughout labor, monitoring patient progress, and assisting physicians with procedures. Delivery Support: Work with obstetricians, anaesthesiologists, and midwives to guide patients through the labor process. Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct fetal monitoring to measure baby’s heartbeat, monitor contractions, and manage pain relief. Emergency Response: Provide care during Caesarean sections (planned or emergency) and manage post-operative recovery. Care Coordination: Act as a Nurse In-Charge, facilitating care coordination within the team, improving care processes, and maintaining safe, hygienic environments. Education: Educate patients and families on pregnancy, self-care techniques, and neonatal care. Supervision: Guide new/junior staff and supervise nursing students on attachment. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license. Experience: Experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), labor and delivery, or high-acuity nursing is highly valued.
