Litigation Support Data Specialist II

Leidos is looking for a highly-motivated, first-class Litigation SupportData Specialist II to add to our busy team supporting the Litigation Support Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The location is 450 5th Street NW, Washington, DC. This job is on-site in Washington, D.C. at Judiciary Square office. After client approval, may be allowed to work two or three days teleworking per week. Note any teleworking is always at the client’s discretion.Primary Responsibilities include:Assists with creating and updating document processing procedures as neededModifies load files and performs quality control on loaded data quickly and accuratelyRuns multiple load streams simultaneouslyPerforms native file processing in iPROExports data from Relativity to create load files for other various platforms as requested by Case ManagerPerforms data conversion processing, including conversions of various document typesPerforms special format data conversions and file manipulation requestsHandles quality control on load files and Relativity data loads and exportsPerforms advanced requests, such as creating data exports for productions and performing quality control on files, and complicated overlays or appends, privilege clawbacks, and sequestration of documentsPerforms quality control to confirm accuracy on loads completed by new Data SpecialistsProvides hands-on training to other Data Specialist as neededPerforms basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark and/or tag records as requested; to include confirming record counts in Save Searches and Image redactions prior to creating exports for productionClearly and accurately discusses data inconsistencies found with Project Manager, Project Supervisor, as well as the Case Manager when necessaryAssists on calls relating to data load file formats or media encryption software with Case Manager and other IT individuals as requestedWorks as part of a team – so must be agile in pitching in for others as needed as part of the teamBasic Qualifications:At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.Must have strong knowledge of litigation support data loading, file conversion and manipulation for loading to various database platformsMust have strong experience in running bates imaged productions and native, tiff and text productions out of Relativity or equivalent eDiscovery software.Has experience with the litigation discovery process, including the EDRM workflowRequires experience with Relativity, LAW and IPRO processing or similar toolsExpertise working with computers and a strong understanding of hardware componentsAttention to detail is vitalFlexible with schedule and able to work extra hours when requestedUndergraduate degree; preferably IT relatedStrong writing and verbal skillsComfortable working in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environmentAbility to estimate time required for a given taskRequires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred.Undergraduate degree preferred; preferably in computer science or related field.More than 5 years’ experience preferred in performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, quality assurance, database loads and exports.Current or active clearance preferred.This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum requirements.
