Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Role Overview We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) for our Adult BMT service. As a CPS, you will practice at the top of your license in collaboration with innovative multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will serve as a hospital‑wide expert in clinical pharmacy, lead the growth of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, act as the therapeutic resource for drug information and pharmacotherapy for the service’s patients, and oversee the division’s educational and quality improvement programs. Responsibilities Design and monitor drug therapy, counsel patients, and participate in Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM). Participate in committees and develop treatment guidelines and pharmacy policies. Precept PGY2 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Educate hospital staff through Grand Rounds presentations and in‑service training. Key Qualifications Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Oncology experience preferred. NYS license (or eligibility). Completion of an ASHP‑accredited pharmacy practice residency and an ASHP‑accredited oncology residency, or equivalent experience required. Additional Information Regular hours fall between Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility may be required depending on departmental needs. Location: 1275 York Avenue, David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care. Reporting to: Manager, Oncology Clinical Pharmacy.
