Reports to: Environmental Services Manager

Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper / Laundry Aide to join our team at the Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors, supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone on campus through high-quality housekeeping and laundry services. Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules in accordance with Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling, and cleaning agent use policies and procedures.
• Clean assigned areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash cans, furnishings and fixtures such as furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets and doors, according to established housekeeping procedures.
• Empty wastebaskets in bathrooms, resident rooms and common areas as directed, replacing with a clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket.
• Clean general common areas, dining spaces, offices and employee areas according to the assignment schedule.
• Cross-trained to assist with laundry department as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior housekeeping or laundry experience (preferred but not required).
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.
• Compassion for seniors and a dedication to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Schedule and Compensation

• Employment type: Part-time, 26 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Shift: Primarily, Day Shift (7:00am – 3:00pm) - will also be trained for Afternoon (1:00p-9:00p)
• Weekends: Every other weekend rotation
• Pay Rate: $14.50 / hour
