Quality Sorter

Preform Solutions is a locally owned and operated production company, making preforms for plastic bottles and containers. We are looking for a full-time detailed Sorter to spot product defects in both completed boxes and at times at the production line. Responsibilities Sort plastic containers to remove defective product Inspect preforms meticulously for known and unknown defects Identify and remove defective parts from completed boxes prior to shipping Assist with quality testing as needed Ability to work autonomously to monitor production lines for quality defects as needed Complete quality checks at the production line as needed and notify correct personnel of defects per company process Switch between sorting completed boxes and current production as needed to ensure orders are completed timely for customers Re-package materials as needed Perform general light warehouse duties as required Qualifications Detail-oriented and organized Dependable and self-motivated Team player Comfortable standing in one area for extended periods Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the department Compensation The starting rate for this position is $20.00/hour . Overtime available at times, depending on workload.
