At Fairfield Inn & Suites Wilmington / Wrightsville Beach, we pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable accommodations and friendly service to every guest. Our Laundry team plays a key role in ensuring high quality linens and supporting the overall guest experience. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. Overview The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel. Potential Career Paths Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers. Load dryers. Know the operating function of the machines. Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis. Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards. Place folded linen on marked shelves. Education and Experience Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred. Experience: No prior experience required.
