Make a meaningful difference supporting K-5 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a friendly educational setting near Wayne, NJ. This rewarding opportunity runs from September 14, 2026, through December 18th, and may require arriving a bit earlier for setup or orientation. You'll be an integral part of the support system for young learners, providing speech and language therapy to approximately 45 students, all in one nurturing school location.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
• Solid understanding of both in-person and remote (teletherapy) therapy modalities
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to K-5 students, managing a caseload of about 45
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop and update IEP goals, and collaborate with families and staff
• Adapt interventions for students’ unique needs, using current best practices
• Organize therapy sessions for efficiency and maximize student participation
• Maintain thorough records and progress notes
• Participate in meetings or professional development as needed
