Outpatient Pulmonology/Sleep Medicine NP/PA opening in SacramentoMultiple openings located in Sacramento and Roseville, CAFull Time; PermanentEmployedAPP's work closely with our physicians to provide high-quality medical careTraining providedTwo years related NP/PA experience preferredNurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to see Pulmonary and sleep patientsInpatient APP Duties Include:Under the general supervision of a physician, provide care to new and follow-up patients using established and approved protocols as required by policyConduct comprehensive history and physical exam, perform diagnostic reasoning, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and write prescriptionsCollaborate with the patient, family members and other members of the healthcare team to review the plan of care and reach the best possible outcomeEducate patients on the available treatments and the associated side effects, treatment protocols, wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and familiesDocument all services and orders in patients electronic medical recordCommunicate with referring physicians to facilitate ongoing careParticipate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programsAssist in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from patients and/or their familiesMaintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal and state guidelines and regulationsAssist with other PMA patients as needed or requestedBenefitsSalary of $150,000 - $170,000 annuallyMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD401k with generous company matchRelocation assistanceMalpractice insurance Estimated pay range/amount is $150,000 - $170,000 annually.
