Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Traverse City, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Intermediate Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse (RN) position available in the healthcare organization. The role involves providing critical care and sedation management during neuro and angio procedures, with responsibilities including monitoring hemodynamics, managing titratable drips, and supervising patient recovery. The position offers a dynamic environment with varied shift times, including on-call duties. Job Details Position: RN with critical care and sedation experience, located in the Intermediate Care Unit. Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institute of Health) certification, and at least 1 year of experience preferred. Schedule: Dayshift, 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The shift times are 0700 - 1600 and/or 0730 - 1700. Additional responsibilities include starting IVs, performing blood draws, monitoring post-sedation patients, completing flowsheets, reviewing medications, and providing discharge instructions. Neuro experience is preferred. On-call duties: One weeknight and one weekend every 4th or 5th week, no guaranteed hours, with OT after 40 hours.
