Travel Stepdown RN - Mount Hope, West Virginia

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Every other weekend required
• 36/48 hours alternating for the two-week period
• Blocked scheduling is not available

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in WV or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of current TELE/PCU/Stepdown experience
• AHA BLS & AHA ACLS certifications required, plus NIHSS certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Comfortable with 1:5/1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios; must be flexible as census can fluctuate
• Willingness to float within scope of practice
• Valid driver's license required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility

Role Duties:

• Provide comprehensive care to stepdown/telemetry patients
• Accurately document patient information and care in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions and patient education
• Adapt to dynamic patient assignments and unit needs
