Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Details Setting: Acute Care / Critical Access Hospital Location: Gordon, Nebraska Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift Patient Population: Acute care, post-surgical, swing bed, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric patients Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients in the acute care and swing bed settings Develop individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, balance, strength, and safe discharge planning Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, OT, SLP, and case management teams Assist patients recovering from surgery, stroke, injury, cardiac events, and medical illnesses Complete EMR documentation and maintain productivity standards Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility safety, and discharge recommendations Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Active Nebraska PT license or ability to obtain one Acute care or hospital experience preferred Comfortable working independently in a rural healthcare environment Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills Why This Opportunity?
