Bartender

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: As a Bartender, you will be the face of our bar, crafting high-quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall guest experience. You’ll be responsible for preparing beverages, managing bar inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner Interact with guests in a friendly and professional way to ensure an exceptional bar experience Take beverage and food orders from customers and servers, and deliver them accurately Maintain knowledge of all menu items, specialty drinks, and promotions Ensure proper alcohol service in compliance with local laws and company policies Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized at all times Handle cash and card transactions responsibly using the POS system Check identification to verify customers are of legal drinking age Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older Proven bartending experience in a busy restaurant or bar setting Knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and mixology techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong multitasking and organizational abilities Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods \nCompany Description Downtown Experiment is a high-energy nightlife venue located in the heart of Downtown Riverside.
