Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required (AHA or ARC). Hospital experience required. Candidates without hospital experience will not be considered. Experience with Meditech EMR preferred. Inpatient rehabilitation experience and CARE scoring experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with basic lift equipment and standard therapy equipment. Ability to perform evaluations and treatments; experience with MBS for speech therapy is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced unit. Assignment Details Shift hours: At least 2 weekend days per month required. Patient ratio typically 5 patients. Unit size: approximately 15 beds and 20 staff. Floating: may be required to float within acute care hospital settings. Scrub color/attire: navy blue. Benefits Designed for Travelers.
