Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• 5x8 Hour Day shifts
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) or as a Medical Lab Technician
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment preferred
• Strong practical knowledge of laboratory instruments, quality assurance procedures, and specimen processing
• Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory analyses on blood, urine, and other body specimens to provide accurate and timely results
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring regular calibration and adherence to quality control protocols
• Validate and report test findings following standard laboratory practices and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring patient outcomes
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance with all safety and infection control standards
• Take initiative in troubleshooting equipment or assay issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed
