Field Service EngineerSalary: $65,000 - $90,000 per yearLocation: New Haven, CTThis position is not eligible for sponsorship or work authorization. Need to reside within in the greater NEW HAVEN, CT areaService medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater New Haven, CT area. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.Qualifications:A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.Overnight travel will be requiredMinimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineerExperience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Responsibilities:Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.Establish a good customer relations foundation.Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support GroupMaintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.Benefits:Base salary 65K - 82K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more).Company vehicleLaptop, CellphoneFully paid family medicalDentalLife Insurance401KVacation, PTO, and paid holidaysTuition ReimbursementAnnual bonus
