Lead Manufacturing EngineerThis Lead Manufacturing Engineer will establish internal processes that safely ensures the production of high-quality products at the rate determined by customer demand. The ideal candidate will:Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving cycle & cost, resolving technical/process issues, and driving lean initiatives.Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, quality, production, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.Job Description Essential Responsibilities:Proactively problem solve and utilize creative thinking to support production lead improvement efforts across the cell for visual management, tooling, plant equipment, and safety/ergonomic solutions.Manage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics.Own execution of capital investments delivering desired outcomes on schedule & within budget.Provide technical leadership and support for training of operators across areas of expertise.Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality.Work with cross-functional team to drive 5s, operational rigor/rhythm/standard work, training plan, and ensure projects are prioritized to align with business needs.Drive improvements partnering with outside vendors to improve consumable cost.Develop strategies for new product introduction.Develop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control.Support product qualifications as needed.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing OR High School Diploma / GED with 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing.Desired Characteristics:Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Ability to influence others and lead small teams.Strong time and project management skills.Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function.Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.Ability to help drive lean initiative.Strong oral and written communication skills.Analytical problem-solving skills.Experience and knowledge of gas turbine components.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
