Job Description
Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Civil Project Engineer to their Minneapolis team!


Responsibilities:

• Completesite engineering tasks
• Ensurethe successful completion of the design of site layout and grading plans,utility design, erosion control plans, and stormwater management plans
• Preparedetailed design/documentation of project solutions that align with clientneeds, project schedules, and budget requirements
• Completea variety of civil engineering design tasks including:
• Roadwayand parking layout
• Pavementdesign
• Sitegrading
• Stormwatermanagement design and reporting
• Siteutility and building service design.
• Performengineering calculations as required for civil design for the following:
• Obtainearthwork volumes
• Stormwaterdesign
• Utilitypipe sizing
• Pavementdesign
• Preparerequired documentation to obtain site plan approvals and permits
• Edit/refinesite work specification sections to meet project requirements
• Provide construction phase support for the following:

oSite visits

oRespond to bidders

oReview submittals

oAddressing change orders

oPrepare punch lists

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sdegree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program
• 5+ years of experience in site improvements design for complex andhigh-profile projects
• PELicense preferred
• Proficientwith AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM/MIDS, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solidunderstanding of civil engineering principles

Salary is commensurate with experience.
