About This Role
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Three-Year-Old Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Claremore, OK. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers. You will implement age-appropriate lesson plans, encourage exploration and play-based learning, and build strong relationships with families to support each child's unique growth and milestones.
What You'll Do- Plan and execute daily lessons and hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity, language development, and fine/gross motor skills.
- Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment tailored to the developmental needs of three-year-olds.
- Guide children through daily routines including meals, potty training, quiet time, and outdoor play.
- Observe, document, and assess each child's developmental progress and behavioral milestones.
- Maintain open, positive, and regular communication with parents regarding their child's daily activities and growth.
- Implement positive guidance and classroom management techniques to help children learn self-regulation and social skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare facility or educational setting.
- Thorough understanding of early childhood development milestones and age-appropriate behaviors.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or a willingness to obtain them upon hire.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with young children and families.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Previous experience operating under OKDHS childcare licensing regulations and guidelines.
- Training in specific early childhood curricula or positive behavior intervention strategies.
