AVP Commercial Relationship Manager

Centra has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Commercial Relationship Manager in New Albany, Indiana at our Grant Line Rd. location. Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with businesses, community leaders, and Centra team members through active participation in business development activities, striving for best‑in‑class member experience to facilitate retention and growth. Screen and interview applicants to determine financial needs and creditworthiness. Analyze information received at interview and develop appropriate structure and terms to obtain approval or deny credit request within approved lending limits. Prepare credit approval memos for presentation to the appropriate approving authority, working in conjunction with portfolio manager and/or credit analyst. Manage loan and deposit accounts using proper documentation, obtaining required signatures, and disbursing funds. Maintain an active role in various committees as assigned. Cross‑sell other services of the credit union, recommend new products and services to promote growth of the department and the credit union, working collaboratively with other Centra line‑of‑business leaders and producers. Participate in community relations and activities to increase the credit union’s visibility, involvement, and impact. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of five to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Preferred: 5–8 years of related experience or better; equivalent combination of education and experience or better. Licensing: Nation‑multistate licensing (as required).
