Bilingual Customer Retention Specialist - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview Kurt Goeser State Farm is adding a Customer Retention Specialist in Independence, MO to help existing customers with policy questions, billing, claims follow-up, and coverage updates. This is a steady, customer-facing office role for someone organized, patient, and comfortable handling phone-based service. Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this role. Responsibilities Proactively reach out for policy reviews and renewals to retain customers Handle policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage changes accurately Serve Spanish- and English-speaking customers clearly and accurately Resolve service issues with patience and professionalism Identify coverage gaps and service needs during reviews Follow up consistently to support customer loyalty and retention Maintain accurate customer records in the agency system Qualifications No prior insurance experience required Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Excellent listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through Willingness to obtain the required Property and Casualty license Positive, professional, customer-first attitude Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Health insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Clear career advancement paths Company events, contests, and team lunches Pay range: $55,000-$70,000 per year This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
