Senior Director of Security

Virtual Vocations Inc

Leading a proactive security initiative, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Security will manage product and platform security, driving application and cloud security while collaborating closely with engineering teams in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Enable the business to integrate security into the product portfolio by leveraging AI, automation, and innovation Own security platform engineering, establishing shared services and guardrails for product teams Drive application and cloud security programs, ensuring vulnerability SLAs are met and maintaining a comprehensive view of security posture Required qualifications Experience managing a multi-team security engineering organization Depth in cloud-native security, including infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline security Proven ability to shift security left through self-service and paved roads Strong peer relationships with senior engineering leaders, influencing product development practices Background in engineering or software development, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-native environment
