We believe each of us is here to help others succeed and this has led to PIMCO being recognized as an innovator, industry thought leader and trusted advisor to our clients.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Analyst to join the Private Strategies team, focused on residential credit, asset-based finance, and specialty lending investments.The Analyst will support senior investors across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of private and structured credit investments.This role offers exposure to US residential mortgage credit, securitized products, and alternative credit opportunities across both public and private markets.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain cash flow models for potential investmentsPrepare investment memos to be presented to PIMCO investment committeesAssist with due diligence relating to new investments, including the formulation and review of business plans and coordination of legal, technical and commercial underwritingSupport financing activities for both new and existing investments, including evaluation of different financing options, legal coordination and negotiation with lendersConduct market research in order to identify new investment opportunities / themesRequirements0–3 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, structured finance, private credit, or a related fieldPreference for university degree in mathematical, financial, economic or engineering related subjectStrong analytical and financial modelling skillsStrong work ethic and integrity: candidate should be a team player who is proactive, self-motivated and have a deep intellectual curiosity and desire to learn in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal communication and writing skillsAbility to prioritize and meet multiple deadlinesStrategic mindset with the capacity to think “outside of the box”PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors.
