Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in MS/Tele License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; not expiring within 30 days of start Must-Have: Open book EKG test required at orientation CPI preferred Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6 required Experience with EPIC required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele Float. The nurse will be expected to float to different facilities as needed. The unit will care for patients with various diagnoses, including infectious diseases, palliative care, oncology, cardiac care, post-surgical care, bariatrics, urology, neurology, and orthopedics. Candidates must have experience managing patients in a telemetry setting with remote monitoring capabilities. Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is essential. The nurse should be proficient in accessing and managing various medical devices and protocols. Ratings of 3-4 in all required skills are mandatory. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated critical thinking and effective communication skills. Adherence to established patient care standards is essential to ensure optimal outcomes.
