Part-Time Community Associate

Community Associate One Gateway Center, Suite 2600 07102 Newark New Jersey, United States of America The opportunity As a Community Associate, you’ll work closely with new and existing customers across a myriad of industries, creating and maintaining your own community within your center to handle all administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their business. A typical day at IWG You arrive a few minutes before your center opens to ensure everything is ready and check for any items the cleaners may have missed. Customers arrive throughout the morning. One asks for a changed Wi‑Fi code, another wants to know if a package has arrived, and a woman needs directions to her meeting room and help setting up a projector. You assist her and immediately connect incoming calls to other customers, ensuring all services are correctly charged and invoices are accurate. You take a quick coffee break, relax and enjoy a few minutes to yourself. The mail arrives; you sort it, handle additional customer requests, and email the earlier customer to let them know their package is waiting in the mailbox. That’s lunch. Additional customers arrive in the afternoon. You help one with printing and another with their invoice. When a customer reports a hot team room, you open a ticket in the service portal. After another coffee break, you sit with the Community Manager to discuss next week’s networking event. You plan, write e‑invites, create, print and display posters on noticeboards. The manager brings a prospective member, you share details about the space and encourage them to join the network and participate in the event, before returning to finish posting. The day ends when you gently ask a large group in meeting room 3 to wrap up, direct them to a nearby restaurant for a bite, and ensure everything is tidy before heading home. About you We’re looking for someone who can manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service.
