Job Title: RN Behavioral Health Profession: RN Behavioral Health Specialty: RN Behavioral Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN Certifications: BLS, CPI/MOAB High Risk Online Portion, CPI/MOAB High Risk On-Site Portion Must-Have: Experience in geriatric psychiatric nursing Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Behavioral Health setting. The focus is on stabilizing older adult patients with acute psychiatric diagnoses. The unit has a capacity of 25 beds with a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. Support staff, including technicians, are available on the unit. The age range for patients is 50 and older. The Behavioral Health department uses a panic button system for enhanced safety. A specialized behavioral health security team is available to provide support.
