Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a full-time, contract clinician role for the 2026-2027 school year, working onsite within a vibrant educational community. This position is perfect for professionals who are comfortable working across both middle and high school environments and skilled in American Sign Language.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Proficient in sign language and able to communicate effectively with students using ASL
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with diverse student populations
  • Comfortable splitting time between middle and high school environments
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage a dynamic caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet student IEP goals with inclusion of sign language as needed
  • Document progress and assist in preparing materials for therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with faculty and families to support student development
  • Travel between two assigned campuses as part of a balanced weekly schedule
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and district guidelines

Enjoy consistent daytime hours, working 35 hours per week with a flexible schedule available (minimum of three days per week). The assignment begins August 12, 2026, and concludes May 27, 2027, offering stable employment throughout the school year.
