Technical Writer
Fleet Technologist
As the Technical Writer for Fleet Technologist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a variety of technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, system requirements, and other technical documents. You will work closely with our product development and customer support teams to ensure that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and easy to understand. Responsibilities Create and maintain technical documentation for our fleet management systems. Collaborate with product development and customer support teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation. Write clear, concise, and easy-to-understand user manuals, installation guides, and other technical documents. Develop and maintain templates and style guides for technical documentation. Ensure all documentation meets company and industry standards for accuracy, clarity, and style. Manage document versions and revisions. Review and edit documentation created by other team members. Conduct research and gather information to support the development of technical documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience as a technical writer or in a related field. Strong technical knowledge of fleet management systems and related hardware. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documents. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with documentation tools such as Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and MadCap Flare. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with project management tools. This is a part‑time position with competitive compensation and a healthy work/life balance.
