Heavy Industrial Welder Night Shift

North Charleston, SC Full-Time | Night Shift (Shift Differential)

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding on large industrial components and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Use hand and power tools to prep, fit, and finish materials
• Operate lifting equipment (cranes/hoists) for large parts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Coordinate with machinists and other team members
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends

Preferred Experience:

• Heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience welding large components or structural materials
• Familiarity with multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Experience with blueprint reading and weld symbols
• Grinding, fitting, and fabrication experience
• Overhead crane and forklift operation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to work in a controlled-access facility
