Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 3x12 hours (06:30 - 18:30)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Medical Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience and be comfortable working with patients in critical care settings. Responsibilities include managing patient care, assisting with procedures, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with patient assessments and developing care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patient vital signs and health status
• Providing education and support to patients and families
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Current California RN License preferred; pending license accepted
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory
