Front Office AgentPosition Summary: The Front Office Agent serves as the face of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. This role is responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, answering guest inquiries, and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience.Key Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional mannerCheck guests in and out efficiently using the property management systemManage room reservations, cancellations, and modificationsAnswer phones, emails, and in-person inquiries accurately and courteouslyHandle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalismProcess payments, room charges, and authorizations accuratelyCommunicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readinessMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk areaFollow hotel policies, procedures, and security standardsQualifications & Skills:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious hotel or customer service experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plusFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions: The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:Flexible and long hours sometimes requiredMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 poundsAbility to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversationAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneelDisclaimer All duties and requirements stated are essential job functions.
