Interim Director Of PharmacyAn Interim Director of Pharmacy position is available in the Great Falls, MT area, requiring leadership and management expertise in a hospital pharmacy setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential oversight and direction to a small but dedicated pharmacy staff while maintaining high standards of pharmacy services.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), leading daily operations of the pharmacyManage and support 2-3 pharmacist full-time equivalents per dayOversee pharmacy services across inpatient, outpatient clinics, and surgical hospital settingsAdvance key projects including clean room renovation, Medi-Tech IT initiatives, and financial analysis for the infusion centerStabilize and maintain professional standards throughout the departmentEnsure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirementsDesired Qualifications and Experience:Montana state pharmacy license requiredProven experience in hospital pharmacy managementBackground in outpatient clinics and surgical hospital pharmacy preferredStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a small pharmacy teamExperience with pharmacy automation systems, specifically Touchpoint, is idealExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesSchedule and Details:Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMNo weekend or on-call responsibilitiesContract duration expected to last approximately 3+ months, starting ASAPThis role is suitable for a pharmacy professional who thrives in leadership positions and is adept at managing complex projects while providing stable and consistent department oversight.
