Assistant Soccer Coach

Responsible for assisting the head coach in carrying out the soccer program at Hesston High School. This role includes, but is not limited to, the functions listed below:

• Conducting practices
• Teaching and reinforcing fundamental skills and rules of the game, as governed by KSHSAA
• Promoting fair play and proper sportsmanship
• Completing administrative duties
• Taking care of sports equipment
• Planning coaching sessions
• Motivating and mentoring athletes
• Resolving team issues
• Cooperating with school teachers and administrators
• Communicating with families

Responsible to Activities Director

Salary based on qualified experience; assigned from supplemental salary schedule
