Medical Director

We are a global healthcare leader and a pioneer in the plasma derivatives industry. We are seeking a licensed Physician from any medical background to serve as our part‑time Alternate Medical Director . This role is ideal for a practicing or retired medical professional looking for a minimal‑time commitment. You will provide essential clinical oversight, review laboratory quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance for our plasma collection facility. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations. Quality Review: Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols. Donor & Staff Support: Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports. Audit Preparation: Ensure the center remains audit‑ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections. Qualifications & Education: Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO). Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation. Schedule & Compensation: Hours: Approximately 2 hours per month total. Flexibility: Work hours are highly flexible.
