The Sales Internship is designed as a feeder program into Daikin's Accelerated Management Program (AMP), offering top-performing interns a pathway to a full-time one-year leadership development experience focused on Outside Sales after graduation.

This position may be located in the following cities: Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Pheonix, AZ; Kansas City, KS; Tacoma, WA; Portland, OR; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD

Position Responsibilities

During the internship, college students will:

• Work on an individual project with your direct team
• Interact with leadership in the company, including VPs
• Network across functions and teams
• Participate in social and team building activities 
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Provide report outs to leadership on project milestones and challenges
• Utilize reliable transportation to consistently commute to and from their assigned work location
• Travel for business purposes approximately two weeks to support project and operational objectives

• Effective verbal and written communication skills including skills to build relationships with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Highly motivated to achieve desired goals and objectives 

Experience 

No previous experience is required

Education

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited in a four-year college or university
• Graduation dates: December 2027- May 2028
