The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment units and common areas remain in excellent condition. This role primarily involves preventive maintenance and troubleshooting across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems using standard hand and power tools. The technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work on-site without the need for travel between properties, delivering timely service to maintain tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on apartment units
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs
• Maintain common areas and address maintenance requests promptly
• Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and address their concerns
• Use standard hand and power tools effectively and safely

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in apartment maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills in HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of safety compliance procedures
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
