Account Manager

Electrical Apparatus Manufacturing and Services Company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to help build out and maintain their Substation, M/V Switchgear, Transformer, and AC/DC Motor products and services. This person will manage the regional and/or target customer accounts primarily for the purpose of building and maintaining an on-going business relationship that is mutually beneficial to both the customer and to the company, covering the Southeast Region (Florida, Georgia, Alabama). Primary responsibilities include traveling to customer sites to visit customers, build good business relationships, and to generally promote all products and services offered by the company. Solicit business opportunities that fit the strategic goals and objectives as defined by Company management. Review customer specifications to determine whether certain business opportunities are within our capabilities. Review and/or create proposals and quotations for products and services according to pricing policies established by Company management. Identify market potential and orders potential within an assigned region or market. Prospect potential customer base to build awareness of Company offers and build opportunity funnel. Education and experience: Four year degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience. A technical degree is highly desirable. 5+ years relevant experience in sales.
